Join us for the once in a lifetime opportunity to view a total solar eclipse from our beautiful Victorian Inn. The path of the eclipse passes directly through Southern Illinois and the City of Fairfield, making our location one of the best places to take in this celestial phenomenon.

2024 ECLIPSE SPECIAL CONDITIONS/EXCEPTIONS POLICIES

Due to the once-in-a-lifetime nature of the 2024 Solar Eclipse certain special conditions/policy exceptions apply for bookings during any date April 5th 2024 through April 12th 2024. Those are noted throughout this policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY for stays within the 2024 Eclipse period (April 5th 2024 through April 12th 2024)

Given the once-in-a-lifetime nature of the 2024 solar eclipse for that period ( Any date(s) April 5th 2024 through April 12th 2024), all reservations will be prepaid, non-cancellable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No exceptions. Nor will refunds be made for non arrivals (no shows), late arrivals or early departures.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Victorian on Main is an historic building and does not offer elevator service.

MAX ROOM CAPACITY/EXTRA GUESTS/OUTSIDE VISITORS

Please note: Each suite is set up to accommodate a certain number of guests. The strict maximum capacity for the Creighton Room, Felix Room, The Garden Suite, Lily’s Hideaway and the Tower Room is two persons. The maximum capacity of the Squirrel’s Nest is four people. The Creighton/Felix rooms comprise a suite that will accommodate four people.

To avoid any confusion and extra charges at check-in, please ensure the guest count is correct when placing your reservation. If the party exceeds the maximum number of people staying in the room they will be asked to leave with no refund.

For the safety and comfort of all guests: Please make arrangements with Management prior to inviting any outside unregistered visitors to the inn, including patio, parking lot and grounds.

Outside unregistered visitors to the inn will not be allowed on the property unless approved by Management.

CHILDREN

Well behaved children are welcome at the Victorian subject to the above maximum number of room occupants. Children under 14 MUST BE accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES throughout the inn, patio and grounds. Parents or guardians are responsible to ensure that children are not running, climbing, jumping, or being disruptive in any way that will affect other guests, cause harm to themselves/others, or damage inn property.

TOURS

PLEASE, NO self guided tours. We will be glad to conduct a tour of the inn upon request, when possible.

TAXES

State and Local Taxes are not included in our rates. They will be applied to the final bill.
